About Our Hand-Painted Pet Oil Portraits
Little Fur Tales creates custom hand-painted pet oil portraits from your photographs. Each framed portrait is a physical miniature painting, made for your pet and displayed in your chosen decorative frame.
A real painting, made from your photo
Our framed portraits are painted by hand in oils. The pet's expression, markings and familiar details come from the reference photograph you provide. The framed oil portrait is not a digital download or a printed photo with an oil-painting filter. Other products in our collection, such as mugs and accessories, have their own materials and production details on their product pages.

Choose a frame, choose colours, share their photo
- Choose your frame: compare Style 01–12 and select a miniature shape you like.
- Choose your colours: select Gold, Silver or White for the frame. Keep the sample's painted background or choose a different colour.
- Upload your photograph: share a clear view of your pet and add any details you want the artist to notice.
- Review before ordering: check the frame, colours and photograph. Your photo-in-frame layout is a composition guide, not a prediction of the finished oil painting.
Small enough for a personal corner of your home
These are miniature portraits, not full-size wall canvases. Outer frame dimensions and the area of the painting differ by style. Read the frame size guide and contact us if you need an exact measurement or confirmation about a stand or wall fitting.
Dogs, cats and other much-loved pets
Our examples include dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and a bearded dragon. The standard framed portrait is for one pet. Please contact us before ordering several pets in one painting.
Painting, approval and delivery
Painting normally takes 3–4 business days after we receive a suitable photo and complete details, or 5–7 business days during busy periods. We send a photograph of the finished artwork for approval before dispatch. Approval, any revisions and shipping transit take additional time.
We offer free tracked worldwide shipping. For a birthday, memorial or other time-sensitive gift, contact us before ordering; an occasion date is a request, not a guaranteed delivery date. Read our shipping policy for details.
Personalised pieces and aftercare
Because each portrait is custom-made, change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not accepted. Please read the refund policy for cancellation terms and help with damaged, incorrect or faulty orders. Display your painting indoors, away from damp and prolonged direct sunlight, and dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
