before we begin.
Is this painted from my own photo?
Yes. The portraits here are examples. We hand-paint your own pet in oils from the photograph you provide. The photo-and-frame preview helps you plan the composition; it is not a finished oil painting.
How small are these portraits?
These are miniature paintings for close viewing. Style 05 measures approximately 10 × 12.3 cm outside, with a 5.4 × 7.5 cm painting opening. See the frame size guide ↗. Style 08 measurements are available on request.
What is included, and is it a print?
One original, hand-painted oil portrait of one pet, with your selected miniature frame. It is a physical painting, not a print or digital download. Gold and Silver describe frame finishes, not solid precious metals.
What photo should I use?
Choose a well-lit JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB, with the whole head, ears and markings clearly visible. If your only photo is old or unclear, ask the studio ↗ before ordering.
Will I see the finished painting?
Yes. You receive a photograph of your finished artwork for approval before dispatch.
Can I order for a gift date?
Please ask before ordering for a particular date. Painting usually takes 3–4 business days after the photo and details are confirmed, or 5–7 during busy periods. Approval, agreed revisions and shipping take additional time.
